Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: The descriptions of the coral growths and of the life undersea are very vivid.
Con: There's no plot and no main character. Things just happen. Worse, the story ends with an infodump.
Some of the science is extremely difficult to believe. Why would there be any advantage to growing coral on a human body? How would that help it cope with climate change? Also, the author appears to think a light-year is a unit of time, not distance.
