Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: If you're a Marlowe fan, there's lots and lots of references to his life and times.
Con: It just goes on, and on, and on. At the end, we never find out if he was a real soul or just software. In fact, right up to the last few paragraphs, no one is the story is really trying to accomplish anything. Events just happen (or are recollected).
