Pro: Clearly, the stupid pill worked. Part of the joke is that the narrator's problem with life appears to be that he makes bad choices--it has nothing to do with his intelligence. He's just as foolish either way--he just expresses it differently when he's stupid.
Con: It isn't very funny.

Actually, do they still do these? I just glanced through my copy of the July/August issue and didn't see one.
