Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: Jal En clearly wanted to be with Tuo again, and after extensive adventures, she gets her wish.
Jal En seems pretty comfortable being either male or female--one gets the impression s/he was both for Tuo at one time or another.
Con: Seems like Tuo went to a lot of trouble. He should have been able to use his magic to open the gate or transform it into a liquid or something. Jal En seems oddly ungrateful--especially considering that she didn't make any attempt to find Tuo for ten years.
