Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: The alternate history is well-imagined, and the dialog and narration are good. Louis's secret is hinted at several ways before it's finally revealed, and his experience is consistent with a number of real-world examples.

Con: Louis's "victory" is won too easily, and it is won by people other than him.
