Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: There really is a story arc here. The conflict is whether Mary will decide that she still loves Jason and still wants to be with him, despite his becoming a super-villain. By the end, we know that, yes, she does, and also that she wants to protect him.
Con: It reads like a fragment of something much longer--as the title hints. Just when we're ready to learn more about Mary and Jason--and Commerce City, for that matter--the story is over.

Very fun take on the superhero genre. I'll be adding After the Golden Age to my TBR.
