Pro: As body modifications go, this is definitely an intriguing one.
Con: The story doesn't seem to end. It's clear that there are unexpected side-effects to the stomata, but these are never explained. Palmer gets his own stomata and suddenly has no worries. Even if he doesn't care, you'd think someone would be concerned.

The stomata creeped me right the heck out! And I didn't like that it ended with him giving in to the trend and suddenly becoming "enlightened" because of these extra holes in his body.
