Pro: The story starts with Iyob (Job) wanting his daughter back and ends with him and her walking hand-in hand. Eliphaz and Elihu are also characters from the Bible story, but, of course, that story doesn't go like this one. The slipstream elements (e.g. telescopes) are amusing.
Con: But what does it all mean? The story is filled with curious images (e.g. the lizard-like seraph) which seem to contribute nothing to the story but color. And why is God a little girl at the end?

Certainly an interesting concept, but somewhat unsatisfying in the end.
