(Military Fantasy) Neverland's eternal war between the Pan and the pirates has grown unusually nasty of late, and the Wendys are concerned about it. (6,300 words; Time: 21m)
Rating: ★★★☆☆, Average

Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: The imagery is good, the background emerges bit by bit, never seeming forced, and, as expected, the war is resolved and there's a new Pan. It was nice the Cecily didn't have to stab her sister. It was a neat trick that the Wendy becomes the new pirate captain, not the new Pan.
Con: The story is linear, but there's a deeper issue; you expect a Peter Pan story to be about childhood and growing up. If that's the case, this story has a very grim message indeed.
