Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Pro: She has a very subtle ability--not something superpowerful--and yet she manages to destroy the creature and save her friend too. Moving and satisfying.
Unusual to see a North Korean as the hero of a story.
Con: We had no reason to expect light to affect the creature until it happens. Other than that, the story plays out in linear fashion without surprises.
