The whole thing is just a political screed. It doesn't even pretend to be a story. The call for revolution in the last line was chilling, but probably not in the way the author intended it to be.

Human photosynthesis could not realistically supply more than 5% of our energy requirements.

  1. Bah. Sorry, Mr. Robinson, tattoo photosynthesis aside, this isn't a story. It's a polemic, and not a terribly good one.
