The Lamb Chops, by Stephen Cox

Lightspeed Magazine, June 2015; 1,500 words
Rating: 2, Not recommended

Harry and Aiden have more problems than most couples, and it has nothing to do with them being gay.

Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: The dialogue works very well. The steady patter of their quarrel seems surreal against the background of us learning just how non-human Aiden really is.

Con: Do we really ever figure out what Aiden is? Some sort of reptile. Who is "human Aiden?" Why is there danger in the relationship?
