Two young sisters in a fantasy world wait out a plague at home. One of them collects stamps to pass the time, but what she really wants is to find a way to help find a magical solution.

The descriptions of the stamps are beautiful.

It seems that the stamps ought to mean something profound, but they don't appear to. The ending is unsatisfying. We don't know whether the sister succeeded or died or merely got lost.
