The revelation that Zeinab was another subject in the test suddenly brings all the other points into focus. The time-shifting problem still isn't fixed, but Madeline isn't alone anymore, and that's what counts.
The story is probably a bit too long.

I really liked this story. It worked for me as a short story, and is worth reading.
ReplyDeleteI read and liked her "The Truth About Owls" story but I think this is a better story imo.
