Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: The concept of the left-behind lover sending messages to the departed space traveler is always poignant.

Con: It's too hard to suspend disbelief for this one. An FTL drive that always jumps 1,000 light years but then always needs 1,000 years to refuel? Likewise, a system that makes a copy of the mind but destroys the original is popular, but also not easy to believe. The repurposing of the body parts is just grisly.
