In a fantasy empire, Vera tries to bring down the criminal underworld in the capital.

Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: The writing is smooth, and the dialogue is natural.

Con: Vera's behavior defies belief over and over again. Her boss keeps observing that she's doing it all wrong, but he keeps letting her do things her way. Jorn trusts her with his real identity, but we see no reason why he should. Finally, in the last line, we find the story isn't even complete.
