Rating: 3, Good, ordinary, story
Something goes wrong when a dying woman is uploaded into virtual reality, and Jayden has to figure it out and fix it.
Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)
Customer service for post-life virtual reality deals with a crisis. The combination of something so everyday (customer service) and someone so high-tech (VR) makes it feel much more real. Several of the practical aspects of such a service seem to be well thought out.
The story leaves too many loose ends. Supposedly there's something very threatening in the big file of discards. There's even the suggestion that the lady almost transitioned into some post-human entity, but nothing is done with that either.
