This may be something you already have in your database, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. The special Mexico Nov 30 issue of Strange Horizons was guest edited by Libia Brenda.

On Safari in R’lyeh and Carcosa with Gun and Camera by Elizabeth Bear is very worth reading for award purposes. I rate it 5-stars myself. It is one of these rare stories that feature a middle-aged woman. I don't consider this dark fantasy. Possibly urban fantasy. Very readable.
