Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: Miriam wants things to change. She figures out that her dead son can be an instrument of change. And change comes.

Con: Miriam is a weak protagonist. For the most part, she just sits back and watches things happen. The story itself is a bit confusing. We never really learn who the Raah are nor why the eat their babies. And the ending is a deus ex machina.
