This story combines awful writing errors--as-you-know-bob, needless infodumps, narrated emotions--with one scientific howler after another. Ships the size of planets that are destroyed by a single meteor shower, but which are barely affected by a grazing encounter with a neutron star? These problems cannot be blamed on the translation; they had to be present in the Chinese original.
