Mini-Review (click to view--possible spoilers)

Pro: We only gradually realize that Layla is a psychopath. At first, we think she's just crotchety. Then, when we learn about her parents, we think there must have been a deeper reason. But when we relive the actual murders, the joy she took in them, the way she used her parents' feelings against them, we know she's the genuine article. And so does Dr. Gbego.

Con: It's hard to feel any positive emotions about the success of a despicable character. The opening is a little slow, or, more accurately, a little confusing until we've learned more of what's really going on.
